Good food.

Not just the $200 L‘explorateur dinners, but also the $5 lunches. I can appreciate everything from elk tartare with pickled tongue to the big King David dog with kraut. Why does raw meat or a just a good Reuben make me so happy? I don’t know, but by God, I don’t know what I’d do without my favorite foods.

Henrik often teases me that I have my “usual”. I think it’s because I’m frequently disappointed when I branch out. And yet, I feel the same way about food as I do music. I have my favorites, but I always wonder what’s lurking around the corner next… ready to send my taste buds to heaven.

So… that’s why 2008 will be my branching out year.
